Hard to operate
This bottle is very difficult and time consuming. I feel it would be easier as a spray. I also tried using it at different times. What I found is I liked to apply with my conditioner in the shower and let sit for about 5 minutes. This is by far my favorite. The smell and the ease of use is amazing. I love the idea that adding it to your roots to save your hair from falling. So to give you some perspective I would like to start by saying that my hair has been through a lot. I'm 31 years old and I've had 5 brain surgeries that have ruined my scalp and I also have dandruff. This serum has become a staple for me along with other Kerastase products. However this serum is everything. Not only is it affordable but it works wonders to protect and nourish my scalp by using key ingredients such as Aminexil Edelweiss Native Cells and Ginger Root. My head is no longer itchy! I was expecting it to help with my hair loss but I didn't realize that it would make my scalp stop itching. I used to use head and shoulders at the scalp and then use biotene on the shaft and length of my hair. Now I use all Kerastase products. And instead of having to use head and shoulders at the scalp I only need this serum and the I use their amazing line of Genesis shampoo conditioner serum and blow dry primer. So before using Kerastase my hair and scalp were suffering. After all of the scalp trauma from multiple surgeries and aging my hair was so damaged dry frizzy itchy FALLING OUT in a major way! This serum is very easy to apply and even has a line on the glass dropper to let you know how much product to use. Which is so helpful to keep from waste. My hair definitely needed these products there is a night and day difference in the overall health of my hair and scalp. My scalp is no longer itchy its helped greatly to keep my scalp nourished and hydrated. I no longer have handfulls of fallout when brushing and taking a shower. It has minimized my hair loss from handfulls to what it used to be which was just a few hairs in the brush and shower. I'm no longer shedding like a cat in the summer. My hair feels much thicker shiny frizz free and healthy.I would definitely recommend this product to anyone. I'm blown away by this product. Love the scent of the whole line—very gender neutral and clean. This scalp serum at first felt like it would be a chore to add into my routine but it quickly became my favorite morning ritual. I divide my hair in 4 sections and the measured dropper is much easier to use than I'd worried it would be. I drop small drops all throughout the section onto my scalp and once applied I massage it in for 5 or so minutes and it is so relaxing. The scalp serum feels invigorating without feeling tingly. My scalp is so moisturized and healthy looking even during a cold winter. Even on days where I didn't wash my hair the serum didn't give my scalp build up or residue. The serum sinks in quickly but it will drip some if you don't move somewhat swiftly. This serum has changed my hair so much i had to go to the salon sooner than normal for a trim because my scalp was hanging on to so much new growth. I'm shocked that a product like this actually lived up to its claim. My hair is thicker and healthier and I'm proud to wear it down and worry less about thin spots showing through. I have chemically belached severly damaged hait that's a bit longer than shoulder length. I've been using the Genesis line products for a little over a week and I've had less than 10 hairs in my styling brush and almost no hair fallout in the shower. So about a year ago I was going through something and I chopped my hair off like just chop chop in my bathroom. I immediately regretted it. A whole year later my hair would not grow!!!!!!you really could not tell a difference in length! And in just the time that I started to use this hair care line I have been able to see so much growth! I've been using the shampoo and conditioner of this line for a while now. Recently I purchased the serum. I can say with confidence that this product does what it promises. My hair is sooo much stronger and thicker. I brush and blow dry my hair and there's barely any hairs falling. Softness is an issue though... hair feels rougher and not smooth. It kind of reminds of how the olaplex step 1 and 2 feels on my hair. 2. Can Masque Reconstituant & Fondant Renforcateur be applied on the scalp?
Those 2 products take care of hair lengths. They provide hair with intense moisture and reinforcement in order to fight against hair-fall from breakage due to repeated processing like brushing . We do not recommend to apply them on the scalp.
3. Are Genesis products free of sulfates, parabens and silicones?
